Effective ways to achieve goals in life

Can you make a house in a day ? Offcourse not ! It starts with a one small brick and adding more one by one on each other and joining them together with cement . This makes a strong wall. The process continue for the other wall and the next .  It takes time. So is the process to achieve the goals in life.

There is no short cut to achieve a big goal. Be persistent, stay foccused and do hardwork are the few well knowm mantras of success. There is no one in the world who can say that he has become succeessful or achieved something big in life without doing any hardwork. Even if someone says do not believe in. May be he or she does not want to share it with you.

I have seen many people do not disclose their struggles as they do not to remember that hard time or they are afraid the others will use the same stratergy and will come up !

Follow these few mantras to achieve  your goal and become successful:

Stay focussed :

There should be only one thing in your mind that is your GOAL since morning till night.Your mind should always be thinking about it. People may tease you but do not pay heed to them. Just keep going !

Stay Calm:

Effective way to achieve goals

There may be adverse or challenging situation but  you have to stay calm. Do not be panic in any case. Your mind can only work properly when when you are at peace. Do meditation or exercise. Start your day well

Be persistent :

Keep on adding a little effort everyday.  No matter how small it is. Do not think to do a lot once and then sit and relax. Do you remember the story of The Hare and The Tortoise ! Maintain the flow.

Do Planning:

Make a real life plan keeping your daily responsibities in your mind. It will work in a better way for you . A plan which does not include ground realities fails .

Accept Failures:

Effective Way To achieve goal

Be ready to accept failures and learn from them. This is what we call an experience later. Learn from your mistakes and next time, do the corrections and perform in a better way.

Be a learner:

Never think that you know each and every thing. There is always a scope for learning. Learn from nature , your collegeaus , your friends no matter they are younger or elder to you. Listen their experiences.

Maintain healthy competition:

The most important thing is to maintain healthy competition with other. Never be jealous or sway away with pride. Have a competition with yourself. False pride or negative competition kills the creativity , so avoid them !

Above all….

Is required

HARDWORK

Nothing in life can be achieved without hardwork. It is the best key to unlock the lock of success and achieve the goal . Come out from your comfort zone.

Even after putting all the efforts you do not succeed or achieve your goal. STAY POSITIVE. Start again….. You will get what you want ! I would like to quote the dialogue from the movie Om Shanti Om ( A hollywood movie) where Shahrukh khan says :

Kehte hain ki …… Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.

 It is said that …… if you want something from heart, then the whole process and every power in the world takes it into trying to match you.

Surrendering – a powerful asset !

In battle, surrender is giving up your resistance to an enemy, this is rarely ever a beneficial outcome , often synonymous with a loss and death. However, when looking at surrender to use in your internal world, it is a powerful asset.

Surrendering as a powerful asset and secret of happiness

For a very long time, I have felt very sad for a number of different reasons, and I have held on to that sadness. Even when everyone around me is very happy I’ve felt sad. This may be true for many of you reading this. Why? My guess is, that as a child and young person I was never allowed to be myself . I feared what other people would think of me if they truly experienced who I really was. I feared that I would be ostracised and criticised. And so I became sad.

My sadness is my resistance to being my self and essentially a happy self-expressed person. My surrendering to my sadness and allowing myself to feel happy and making it okay to feel happy has ultimately lead me to this discovery.

Just to sound a little cinematic, surrendering to my sadness and feeling, my feelings has released me from my prison of sadness to which I cling to and identify with so much. It has set me free.

What does surrender feel like? and how do you do it?

It is true surrender is a feeling, for me. It  started with the thought “It’s okay to let yourself feel happy”. I immediately felt a weight lifted off my shoulders and I felt lighter in my physical body. I had a somatic response with was directly correlated to my state of mind. This is perhaps the most obvious way to surrender. Just by thinking.

So, send the intention to allow for surrender in your life, just by thinking about surrender, if this is your desire. It is a law of the universe that you must experience this in your life.

Start your day with positive thoughts to stay happy

Everyday is a new day. When we get up in the morning, we start a fresh . That moment is the moment on which our whole day depends. Never start your day with something negative or with worries. Always start your day with some positive thoughts. If you will start your day with a positive thought and as a fresh new day , definitely your day will go smooth , with no worries at all . Even if you would have to face any adverse situation ,you will find yourself capable of bringing it under your control.

Coming out from the bed or leaving the comfort zone is difficult or a challenge for some( usually switch off the alarm and wait for five minutes to get up and that 5 mins become 1 hour at times) but who has succeeded in his life being in his own comfortable zone ? Taking up a new challenge is life. There are different ways to motivate yourself in the morning. 

Your first thought decides how your day would be , hence, start your day with what you love to do. What can be better than motivating yourself by recognising your strengths and God given gift of life.

Get up in the morning and say thanks to God for giving you one more day to enjoy life. Look at your hands and see how beautiful they are ! With these hands you can achieve whatever you want ! You can say this beautiful Shaloka in Sanskrit too which is perfect way to start your day.

One more goal for blog achieved in the mid year 2018 – New domain name

Hi Guys !

A short post ! Just to inform all my readers that in the beginning of 2018 , I decided some goals for my blog. The first important thing was to get Domain and moving to self hosted site and I am done with.

I do not want my readers to miss anything in future ( nor they want to miss,  I am sure) on my blog so you will now be able to see my posts under the same name i.e. JOURNEY OF LIFE CONTINUES  but with a new domain name

North Indian States under the blanket of dust

Once again, the skies of North Indian States like Delhi , Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan are completely covered with thick layer of smoke , dust and harmful chemicals. A public advisiory has been issued by the deparment to avoid the health problems. People have been advised to stay at home and avoid outdoor activities.

It seems that the nature is giving us  alarm that its a time change the way we are spoiling our nature. All this is a result of deforestation and an over use of vehicles though dust storms in the neighbouring state Rajasthan may be one of the reasons.

This may be a situation for a day or two but what about in the near future. This is happening second time when the air quality has been fallen so badly. I remember the last time when the sky of these states were covered with smog ! Even NASA noticed the same through its Report.

Even WHO report , near about more than 90% people of world are breathing in the air which is not good for their health and exceeds the limit of air quality index according to WHO.

The Air Quality Index has crossed all its limits as it has reached to maximum limit of 500 in Delhi while around 446 in Ludhiana ,a state of Punjab. You can understand this AQI values by the given table:

The associated health problems as per this AQI range (401-500)  are-

It may cause many respiratory problems and serious health impacts on heart and lungs. A little breathing discomport to sensitive people like children , older adults and people with heart diseases. 

Hence one should avoid doing long exposure to this kind of environment and if neccessary, wear mask to protect themselves.

Talking about Ludhiana, According to Punjab Agricultural University, ThE AQI is 446 which includes PM10 as a main pollutant.This can be dust, smoke , mist or any inhalable or respirable particles which can be drawn deep into the lungs and cause breathing problems and irritation in eyes,nose and throat.

The condition is worse in the Capital, where government had to suspend all the construction work giong in the state.See AQI of different areas of Delhi.

This is really unfortunate that we are still not adopting the habits that leads to the protection of our enviroment. In the coming days we will be more prone such natural disasters and that time situation will be out of control.

( Since yesterday,the sky here is full of dust and the weather is too bad that I can’t even tell my kids to play outside nor I can go for a walk and this is going to persist for two more days )

India has always been a famous for different cuisines in the world so is  their love for the food. This may be one of the reasons that every now and then people are looking for new places to eat and hang out with friends and family. But when it comes to health issues, they prefer to eat at home.

EATING AT HOME IS HEALTHY

The main reason is that the food prepared at home is fresh , healthy and cooked under your observation. There are minimum chances of adulteration and is free from harmful chemicals .( Ajinomoto i.e. Monosodium glutamate a chemical used to enhance the food taste which is cancerous and sometimes added in outside food).

According to the  Godrej Food Trends Report 2018  prepared by renowned Chefs, health professionals, nutritionists of the country ,Eating at Home” is one  of the latest food trends also as 100 % people prefer to eat at home more often  when it comes to health issues and about 75 % people believe that having food at home is safe and hygienic too.

It is really important what we are eating as our body reacts in a way we eat and what we eat. These lines from our ancient scriptures also show that the food is not only  for energizing  our body but also important for my mind ,soul and thoughts.

This reminds me the saying of my elders that the feelings of person who is preparing the food also matter. It is told me why people in religious places enjoy the food as everyone while preparing food keep on chanting mantras or remember the god and the goodness passes in the food , so it becomes more tastier.

HOW I MAKE MYSELF AND MY FAMILY EAT AT HOME 

I too prefer eating at home and I must thank the food bloggers and  Google that I can cook different cuisines at home. Even I love giving twist to them so that no one could get a chance to leave the dinning table without appreciating my cullinary skills. Learning to cook new dishes at home has been possible in this Internet Era being wifi as a ( hidden) best friend for your kitchen. There are 50 % people in India who learning and trying new cuisines and dishes at home ( As the Godrej Food Trends Report says ) and I am happy to be a part of it.

When I am experimenting with cooking skills , how can my  kiddos be left behind . They too are always ready to try to cook and serve the food with love. I must appreciate their way of presentation. This culinary education is must for children at home or in schools for their healthy future as 25 % people of India are agree with it , as the report says.

Due to working in Multinational companies and busy family schedules , we can’t cook food regularly. In such cases people prefer to have a helping hand i. e. a person who cooks food for them. They prefer to train them for different dishes , according to Godrej Food Trends Report 2018 .  It is not very difficult . You have to once  teach them as they pick up very quickly. I am vegetarian but these dishes are cooked by my maid servant under my guidance . I opened the recipe and guided her and she did a wonderful job !
