Recently somebody asked me this question.Why do you keep the dead dog in your mind ? I was not been able to understand these question. I was completely unaware that this question can have such a deep meaning. Read this post further to know about this dead dog and how it affects our lives.

One early morning as you open the door or gate of your house and see the dead dog in front of you which is being left by your next door neighbour, what would be your action or reaction ?

There are many options. If you are a dog lover you will first pick the dead dog and will take the necessary action. You may complain the authorities for this wrong action. In none of the case, you will leave the dead dog there. Not even few hours or a day. You first action will be to clear up your front door to avoid any hindrance or foul smell.

Same is the case when somebody throws out his or her dirty mind or foul language or anger on you or in front of you, why do you keep that in your mind ?

The more it will be in front of the doors of your mind, the more you will get disturbed. You have to remove this dead dog from the doors of your mind to think fresh. Otherwise, it will cause the diseases which in turn will affect your whole self.

The person who has done wrong with you will be happy to see you disturbed as his purpose is getting solved but what about you? Just ruin the plans of this neighbourer and move forward. Never keep the dead dog in your mind !

If this the dead dog will keep on lying in front of the door of your house for few days, not only you but the whole neighbourhood will get affected because of the foul smell. So , better to remove it as soon as possible.

Many a times we encounter such situation where we keep on thinking day and night about that one incident or a situation. Sometimes this goes on for months. This create disturbance in our , making us unable to do our daily work. These issues then lead to physical problems like high blood pressure, cholesterol, anxiety and depression. The doctors put us on sleeping pills and anti depressants and things go out from our control.

It is always easy to control the problem at the beginning before it grows out big and malicious.

The best ways to throw out the dead dog from mind are –

Train your mind Do not let thought wander here and there. Focus on your goal and concentrate on solution rather problem.

Start your day positivelyBegin your day with positive thoughts. Positivity attracts positivity.

Meet positive people – Such people have positive aura around them. Such people having a kind of healing power. They can make you feel comfortable through their touch or conversation.

Meditation – This is the best practice to have a peace in our life. It can be done in any form.

Be forgetful and forgive – This is best way to keep the mind fresh and free from all the disturbances happening in our lives.

Damn ! Am I really doing something wrong that is giving me guilt feeling ?? Or someone is just trying to create a situation that better suits to him and helps him to take advantage???

There are people in the world who can take advantage of your helpful and humane nature to create their comforts. They are the one who will keep you blaming day and night to such an extent that you will start thinking yourself as a culprit !

Damn ! There are many different personalities around us. What should a person do to combat this situation is the most difficult task . This is the moment when you are struggling with your innerself. Through this post I am going to share few tips and tricks that can provide you a kind of support.

  • In such a situation, better talk to someone who knows you well. Who can help you to analyse the whole scenerio since beginning.
  • Make sure the person who is making you fall in trap have no other personal business. Don’t fall in the trap of emotions.
  • Stop trying to explain that person. The more you will explain , more difficult it would be to come from this web of guilt. Better you maintain some distances.
  • Stay away from that person. You can’t be puppet in his or her hands. You have your ethics and way to live life.
  • Find someone with whom you can get along and share your feelings.

Your mental peace is most important than anything in this world. This is just a false guilt feeling. Believe me , it is not you who is wrong but the other person is responsible for this situation.

Stop worrying about the present situation. Concentrate on something productive and move forward in life leaving behind all such scars !

Soya Kebabs #Bharatkazaika

“Mummy , Kya banaya hai ?”

“Aaj dinner mein Kya hai ?”

These are the few lines we usually listen being a women. No matter you are a home maker or a working women everybody expect you to be ready with new ideas for kitchen. Even in my family , no one is ready to have dinner straight away. Specially if daal is being cooked , they expect a side dish or some snacks.

Snacks may not be required everyday but at least once in a week they need something new. I too like experimenting in kitchen. Mostly the things comes out well.

Last week I was in kitchen and I had good mood😉 so I thought to try this kebabs and yes ! I was succesful in my experiment. These are quick to make and taste so good. You can try it for your kitty party , kids birthday party or even as evening snacks.

If you are worried what to pack in your kids Tiffin. Try this awesome recipe. Prepare everything at night. Mix it in the morning to make dough and be ready to pack the tiffin.

SOYA KABABS

Veg Soya Kebabs

Ingredients :

  • Boiled Soya granules – 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes – 2
  • Cornflour – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic n ginger paste – 1tsp
  • Chopped green chillies – 1tsp
  • Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat Masala – 1tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1tsp
  • black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Dry coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Steps to make

  1. First of all mash the boiled potatoes . Make sure that there are no big pieces.
  2. Add the boiled soya granules.
  3. Add cornflour and all other ingredients to the mixture.
  4. Mix them well and make small flat round balls like the kebabs looks like.
  5. Shallow fry it in non stick pan.
  6. Serve hot with salad and chutney.

Here I have served kebabs with hot n sweet chilly sauce and hung curd dip. You can serve it with green coriander chutney or even with tomato sauce according to the taste.

Recipe notes –

  • Squeeze out all the water from boiled soya granules .
  • The dough may be little sticky. Do not worry about. Just put a little drop of oil on your dry hand and make the balls.
  • There is no need to roll more on hand while shaping.
  • Instead of shallow frying , you can roast it on non stick pan with few drops of oil to make it more healthier.

I feel having food made at home always make you fuller, satisfied and healthier. Last year I got a chance to study godrej food trends which proves that people prefer to cook food at home because it is hygienic and good for health. Healthy shopping is other way to incorporate health in our family. There are different types of healthy diets which will not only satisfy your hunger but will give peace to your soul too.

Does age restrict us to make new friend ?

Few days back I saw this question being discussed on the social media. This initiated a thought process in my mind. Does age is an hindrance in the way of making new friends ? (I really want to know what’s your opinion. Do write in comment section in the end of post)

Does age restrict us to Make Friends? , friendship in older age ? Is it difficult to make friends in older age?

As a child we are always looking for a company to have fun and learn new things. As we grow up , this need of learning new things fades and we start enjoying are own company. Hence we prefer to be happy with what we have. This stands true for friends too. We don’t feel a need for a company .

At young age ,we accept the person as friend as they are without any expectations. We don’t see faults, how they look like , family status even gender. Friends means a person with whom we can be what are.

Age changes are thought process. We become more concerned about outcomes. As a result we find it difficult to get connected with a person emotionally. As the purpose get solved , we move forward leaving behind the friendship.

Getting out from our own comfort zone is a big challenge. Adjustments with other people is not that easy with age.

Like minded people are hard to find. Your thoughts , action , way of living life , your concept of life , food and many more things that connect us with others. It is not easy to get matched.

Social anxiety could be other reason . As an adult facing a society creates a confusion within us. What the society will think about me ? Will I be accepted? Such questions creates a conflict within us. I think we should live for ourselves not for society.

Our past experiences hold us back from making new friends. Once a person had a bad experience always be afraid to start a new one.

Hence there is nothing weird. It is pretty normal. As people grow older they start weaving a layer after layer around themselves. Reaching to them , crossing through those layers is difficult for another person. These layers act as an insulation which does not allow the new people to reach at your heart.

Secret ways to create the Perfect time

What does the perfect time means? Does the perfect time really exist ? Or it is a state of mind which creates it ?

Every single second is a replica of the other second. These exactly the same 60 seconds make a minute which in turn make hours , days, weeks, months and so on. The control on this small identity of time is unaltered and beyond the control of our capacities. Every single second is Perfect by its own. Then why do we keep looking for that perfect time ? Is the moment in which you are living and witnessing is imperfect ? If you ask this question to yourself ,the reply you will get somewhere from the core of your heart is – NO.

It is we who are unable to understand the nature and power of time. It is we who are lacking in terms of efforts or attitude. Our inhibitions and insecurity is leading to give such results and keeping us away from making this moment perfect.

How can we make this moment perfect to start with? Why are we keep on waiting for that perfect moment ? Why are we doubtful about this present moment ?

We should not waste your time and energy for waiting the moment which is yet to come. Start with what you have just now with you. You are the creator of your future. You are the one who has a magic to make your dreams come true. Start making your perfect moments now. This is the perfect time to make your life what you have dreamt of.

How can you make this moment a Perfect moment ?

Every person has his own secrets to unwrap the success or happiness in his life. The formula which has worked for me may or may not work for you. There is no closed door to the better future , only the ways to open it may be different . The treasure is just under your feet. You have to start digging just now. Some may get it in few feet down the earth or others may have to go little deep. The later you start , the more time you have to wait.

I am listing here few ways to start with. Try it to make this moment the perfect moment.

  • Start believing in yourself

The very first step is to start believing in yourself and in your efforts. People may raise doubts about you and even your ideas. They may see you as worthless. Don’t get disheartened. Believe me , They are ignorants as they can’t see your mind and your planning.

  • Weave your thoughts

There are many thoughts and ideas which keep on popping up in your mind. Before these valuable strings in mind get entangled , write it down. At first these may appear bit confusing . Later you can sort out them one by one according to your goal.

  • Work upon the pathways

There are many different roads to reach at one destination. Study the map carefully to choose right path. It may possible that the road has still not built to your destination. No worries. Make a new one. It will not only be beneficial to you but for others too.

  • Read and research

Read some books. It can be a motivational book , a success story , a biography or a travelogue. Every book has a lesson for life and a way to solve the mystery of hidden truths. Research the topic online and offline both. Listen the people carefully. You can get a lots of ideas to make your that moment perfect.

  • Don’t be afraid of failure

I always believe that failure are the stepping stones to success. Do not be afraid to fail. Take a example of the famous Bollywood actor Amitabh Bacchan who once wanted to leave Bombay ( presently Mumbai ) thinking that this city is not meant for him. Look at he destiny, the same city made him a well known personality in the world. He has faced the failures many a times but did not stop.

  • Accept criticism

People will criticise you for your actions. Accept it as a part of your success story. The one who are criticising you today will be your admirers one day. Deeply go through those words and sentence. Analyse and interpret to see whether they are worth for. Keep your attitude with you.

  • Be ready with plan A, B or C

Make a plan A and start doing planning on a paper. Write its pros and cons. If it works well , good but if it isn’t ? Make sure you have plan in your hand. Never ever think to stop on the way. Keep on going till you achieve what you want to.

Start doing smart work with hardwork. A perfect combination of both will bring you closer to your perfect time quickly.

Life is what you make it. So , let’s make this moment a Perfect moment. Don’t wait for tomorrow as tomorrow never comes.

Beware! You are feeding chemicals to your kids

Food habits, child heath , chemicals in food

As a parent we always want to give our kids best be it food or thoughts. Sometimes unknowingly or due to ignornance we get indulge in the wrong food practices which can adversely affect the heath of young children. The food we are giving to them become reason for their heath hazards through the chemicals containing in them. Here is list of few chemicals and wrong practices which we are following and need a check :

  • Ajinomotto in Chinese food – Have you ever thought why your child likes more the outside food and why does it tastes better compared to the one we make at home. It is because they add Ajinomotto ( Mono sodium glutamate) or MSG , a very harmful and carcinogenic chemical if taken at large quantities. This also present in processed food and packed food.
  • Artificial Colours – When we have so many colours in our natural food why do we need to to give such artificial things to our kids. Food prepared in restaurants is full of colour as they add it to make it more appealing . These chemicals can enhance the symptoms of ADHD in children.
  • Caffeine – If summers means cold drinks for your kids then you are spoiling your kids. High in sugar content and caffeine can not be comprised with natural drinks .
  • Bisphenols like BPA- can cause problems with your child’s immune system and interfere in puberty too. It is mainly found in 3 and 6 number plastic.
  • Heating and reheating in plastic – When you cook food and reheat the food in plastic in microwave, it makes the food poisonous. Even you should avoid putting the hot food in Tiffin boxes if they are of plastic.

Healthy food practices to follow

  • Choose fresh and home made food over packed and outside food. Once in while it is ok.
  • Prefer to cook meal fresh and consume immediately.
  • Use glass container to reheat in microwave if required .
  • Prefer steel tiffin and water bottles for kids .
  • Use cloth napkin instead to foil paper to wrap food in lunch.
  • Make home made sharbats in summers.
  • Use natural colours while cooking food e.g. turmeric or saffron for yellow or beetroot for red or pink colour.
  • Do heathy shopping for your family
